		<description>Good Day,
I am on Vancouver Island Myself, and have only just gotten into Fly Fishing.About two seasons in fact.I just love the feeling of the fly rod with a fish on,it is just sooo different than a regular rod eventhough they do have there purpose. It has been hard to find people who are (local to B.C.) in the blog world. We just seem to have different season starts through the year.Love the blog and have bookmarked you blog to see more posts.

<description>Fly rod building can be fun and rewarding. If you tie flies, this is the next logical step for you. The bamboo process is perhaps not for beginners, but you can build a quality fly rod on a graphite blank from just about any of the top manufacturers. I conduct classes on building your own fly rod, and my students complete their rod in three evenings over a three week period. I provide all the tools and materials they need to do a good job, and to a man, every one of them is thrilled with their rod. One reason for that is I don&#039;t offer pre-assembled kits with cheap components. We build on St. Croix, G Loomis, Sage, or even T &amp; T. I work in the Lake Norman area of North Carolina. Just a few hours&#039; drive to the trout streams of the Smokies &amp; Blue Ridge Mountains. Check out my blog-http://gfrods.wordpress.com.</description>

<description>The Throat pump has been proven by many top fishers and biologists to be safe if used properly.

If the people that are responsible for the health of our fish stocks here in BC Canada, use them, then I think that they know what they are doing.

The post I wrote, was written a few years back and is actually incorrect.

NEVER PUMP WATER INTO A FISH!!!

Empty the tube before inserting it into the fish, squeeze the bulb and then insert, after that, you just slowly take it out and it will suck out the last few meals the fish has had.

Like I said above, if people like Brian Chan, Phil Rowley and the likes use then, I would have to say they are safe when used correctly.

Brian Chan is a Biologist here in BC, Canada, and is a very respected flyfisher and is in charge of the fish stocking program here, so I think he has a bit more knowledge that you or I on this subject.

<description>From what I have heard, Ernie is doing well. As for how he got lost, As many dogs do, he just went for a sniff around and got lost. The owner searched for him for hours to no avail. The owner had to leave after many hours of searching and left a description of Ernie with the local SPCA.

From there the story is as written in the post.
